4th September 2016

On Thursday next week (8th Sept) I will be helping to organise and chair a study day ‘Understanding ModernGov Perinatal Mental Health Event. It is being held near Marble Arch London and details can be found on http://www.moderngov.com/courses/sector-specific/ensuring-effective-perinatal-mental-health-services-08-09-16/. Twenty five delegates from across the country have already booked to join the course, so it will prove an eventful day.

We are pleased to advise that our 2-day course ‘Listening Visits in Perinatal Mental Health’ received CPD accreditation.

There is one point for every hour attended on the course. Each day has 7 hours learning, plus 3 hours recommended pre-reading, making a total of 20 points. Participants on our course will receive two certificates, one for their Continuing Practice Development, which is the process of tracking and documenting the skills, knowledge and experience that you will gain, both formally and informally on the course.

In the NHS one of the requirements is on-going registration which is linked to evidence of Continuing Professional Development. It is important and advantageous to have an up-to-date portfolio from early in your career, to record experiences, learn opportunities and recognise how they are applied.

Mark will shortly be circulating details of the training which will be based in London during January, February and March 2017
